This is a four bedroom residence located in Kannur. The client wanted the design of the home to be simple yet modern and integrated with the latest amenities. The spatial planning is inclined towards offering more open spaces with little segregation. The different spaces flow into each other seamlessly to offer a fluid organic space. There are water bodies on either sides of the building along the setback so most openings are directed towards these to make the most of the feature and to create interesting views for the residents and visitors. The central space is double height which creates a vertical connect between the different levels of the house. While the spatial planning is fluid, the aesthetics of the home are minimalistic as well. The facade design is contemporary in its approach and is a conjunction of blocks of varied depths protruding out to create a harmony of spaces and different materials that complement each other.
