This hotel is located on a hill behind the famed Ooty lake. It is designed keeping in mind the climate of the place and the scenic views that one can enjoy while staying here. There is a valley and a forest view that the design frames with the help of strategic spatial planning and placement of openings. The spaces are planned in such a way that most rooms get to enjoy a beautiful view while one can overlook the tranquil landscape of Ooty at the lobby too. Locations such as these come with varied challenges like the terrain and geographic conditions that are very different from what we usually encounter, and the design had to be sensitive to both. It is a three star hotel, so the facilities and amenities were provided as per the standards. The facade is minimalistic and contemporary with lush openings that make the most of the views around.
